Paul came to Baramul Stud with a lifetime in horses, emanating from his early days at Pony Club. Paul has worked in the thoroughbred industry since 1987, working for such industry icons as Les Irwin and Dr Phil Redman.
Seeking experience, Paul travelled overseas, working on studs in the USA and handling yearlings by stallions such as Danzig (USA), Seattle Slew (USA) and Alleged (USA).
On returning from overseas, Paul worked for Fred Kelly at Newhaven Stud, then moving onto Riverdene Stud before becoming Stud Manager at Baramul Stud for the late Sir Tristan Antico.
When Gerry Harvey purchased Baramul Stud in August 1999, Paul happily remained as Stud Manager for the development of the new look Baramul. |
